Currently out of print, A Mother’s Journal was a giftbook for women, used primarily for Mother’s Day.

Last night they laid him by my side. His little dimpled smile whispered whence he had come. A soft tiny hand tightened its hold around my finger for the first time.

Oh, how I thank God for such a sublime gift! No feeling on earth can equal these swelling, choking, sobbing expressions of humble thanks.

I ask myself: “Can I—I, so inadequate—do justice to this heavenly spirit entrusted for a time to my care? Dear Lord, help me give him that which he deserves.”
